Hi! I haven't posted in awhile, I have been stitching on Fairy Dreams this week. I ran out of one kreinik, with just a tiny bit to go, very frustrating! All I have left after that bit is the beading. I'm waiting to get the kreinik before I do the beading, it's very tedious and I'm concerned about squashing the beads in my q-snaps. In reality they probably won't break, but I don't want to take the chance, lol
So I'm working on Burden for awhile, see if I can get some progress on poor Frodo, he gets awfully neglected! My own fault really, I'm stitching him 1x1 on 28 count and it gets very tiresome after a bit, especially with all the black. But he will be well worth it in the end so I keep plugging away on him. I'm getting close to being halfway. I don't have any batteries in my camera at the moment so no pics~
Oh, and a reminder, it's getting close to the DAYTONA 500!!! Yes, I'm excited, can you tell?! lol I get so bored when racing is 'on vacation'. Like my favorite driver doesn't work hard and need a vacation every once in awhile! grins and waves~

my first pinkeep finish
Here is my first pinkeep finish! I really liked making it, it was way easier than I thought it would be. The ribbon I bought to go around the edges was too big so I just made a bow for the top. Next one will be better I'm sure. I forgot to take a pic of the back lol! I used a patchwork looking fabric that matches all the colors in it~hugs

fairy dreams wip
Here is what I decided to work on next, it's Fairy Dreams by Lavender & Lace. I don't remember exactly when I started this one, I think it was January of 2007, but I didn't write down my start date so it's just a guess. It's on 28 count monaco, all I have left is the metallics and beads. She's been neglected terribly, hopefully it won't take too long to get her finished~

Tadaa!!
started 12/01/06, finished 1/18/09
Am pondering now which one of my many wip's
I will work on next. I might do a small freebie pattern
just for fun, I think I need a reward for such a large finish! lol

seahorse freebie finish
Here is another small finish, it's a seahorse freebie stitched on a small tote I got at 123stitch. It's stitched with a mystery green spool from Vikki Clayton. It's a really pretty green, I just love the color. I'm going to hunt for some pretty starfish buttons and trims to embellish it with. I'm sure it will make someone a great gift!~

wolf update and new haed bb sal start
Here is the latest on my wolves, I've finished the 3rd in the row and have only 1 left to do! I've been doing the backstitching as I go as there is very little of it, only some around the eyes and ears. There are some french knots that go in the eyes but I'm waiting until the very end to do those so they don't get squished. I'm taking a break from these guys for the weekend as the 2009 sal for the haed bb is starting this weekend, got the first page of the chart tonight! This is my one allowed new start for the year and I'm excited to get started. I'm stitching Dark Cherry and she is soo pretty in the picture! I'll post an update after the weekend is over, hugs Christine

wolf pack update
Here is what I'm currently working on almost exclusively, I'm officially halfway done with them, I had to order some thread from 123stitch that I ran out of, and will have to order some more as I'm gonna run out of at least one more color before the end, but I won't need it until I get to the very last wolf, there are only 2 left in the row. You can see the tippy top of the next to last one's head on the bottom there! Can you believe that I actually started this one on December 1, 2006?!! I think it's time I got them finished~

my first finish in 2009
Here is my first finish for 2009! It's a tiny angel freebie I found somewhere, isn't it cute? I did it 2x2 on white 28 count evenweave with Vikki Clayton silks in a color called Aqua Marine. I'm going to finish it into a pinkeep as soon as I can get some matching material, ribbon, & some pins to match. The new year is off to a great start! hugs
Happy New Year
Happy New Year's to everyone!
Hope the new year brings many blessings
and much success and happiness!
